Whedon Video Spot

Welcome to the brand new Whedon Video Spot!

This site was inspired and modeled after the fabulous
Supernatural Video Station run by Kayla and her team of awesome moderators.

The purpose of this forum is give you a place to share, discuss, learn help and enjoy the world of fan videos of the Joss Whedon verse.

This site will serve two major changes from other Whedon video sites:
1. there aren't any awards for regular submissions- there are tons of sites out there that already run award contests for your vids. Perhaps, in the future, if there is a great demand for them and I have a team of moderators this will change but for the time being, there are not. (there will be awards for the vidder's challenge when that begins)
2. In addition to just sharing your videos, you can seek help such as "Find A Scene", and you can easily discuss the videos with one another (not something easily done on most award sites)

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1. Please read the SITE RULES.

2. Please read the "How To Submit A Video" in the Music Video thread prior to posting.

3. To post a thread or to reply to a thread, you must be a registered member. Registration is quick, easy and free.

4. While the board is new and people are joining rapidly, there may be a large number of videos submitted from the backlog of vidders since these shows have been off the air for awhile. The moderators only have so much time to devote to the site before real life gets in the way. Therefore you are only able to submit up to 5 videos a month.

5. The major departure of the style of this forum from SVS will be the amazing archiving system they have there. Because this is just a forum, not a full website, we do not have a system that is quite that easy to navigate but it will have to suffice for now. Perhaps, if the site is popular enough we can upgrade it later down the road.
REGARDING ARCHIVES:
A. please allow up to 2 weeks minimum for your video to be archived. If you notice it has not been archived after two weeks, you may send a pm to a moderator and we will handle it as quickly as possible. This does not mean it will always take two weeks for a video to be archived. B. We do not archive the multi-fandom videos posted on the site-only the Whedonverse videos.

6. Please note that our archiving system is not yet complete and is a work in progress. This will be continually modified as we gain new members and videos. Also, please bear with us as we are sure to have a few kinks in the first few weeks of operation.
