Whedon Video Spot

We're so glad you decided to be a part of our little internet family here! We want this to be a fun and creative outlet for everyone! To help this we have set up the following rules:

1. Be respectful of other members. If you feel like you need to have a discussion with someone about their behavior, please do so through private messages. Rude behavior on the board- name calling, abusive language, etc... will warrant a warning. If it continues you may be banned. If you have any concerns over another member's behavior, you may send a private message to the administrator and/or a mod.

2. Clip theft is NOT ALLOWED. This is when clips are taken from someone else's edited music video and put into your own - maybe because you don't know where to look for the clips. We will post a thread for sites that offer downloadable clips [coming soon!], other than that you must make your own clips. If there's a clip you need and you are unable to make it - ask in the request thread and perhaps a kind member will make it for you.

However, if your vid is reported or found to contain stolen clips, your video will be investigated by the moderators. If we find that the clips HAVE been stolen, your video will be taken off the site and you will be given a warning. If it occurs again, you will be banned. Stealing clips from a video that someone else has put together and worked hard on is highly unnecessary and just plain rude!

3. You must read the "How To Submit A Video" post in the Music Videos thread prior to submitting your first video.

4. We encourage you to keep the multi-fandom zones spoiler-free unless they are in a clearly marked spoiler thread. Because this is a Whedonverse forum where the main focus will be Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly/Serenity - where the shows are already completely run and there are no spoilers, the moderators will NOT be enforcing a spoiler-free rule in the multi-fandom thread. You enter these threads at your own risk. We just ask the posters to be considerate and, as we've said, encourage you to keep them spoiler-free. When a new Joss Whedon show/film becomes available, such as the future Dollhouse, we will enforce a "no spoiler" rule except in a specified thread.

6. Remember that Joss Whedon and the creative teams behind his shows are real people and there is to be no bashing of them. This doesn't mean you can't point out things you didn't like - just do it in a respectful tone.
